I have an RPK parts kit everything but the receiver. Can someone tell me which receiver would be best to put this together. Thanks!

I have the same problem I assume you have a romy rpk kit which nodak isnt making anymore of when they were is stock I got a nds 5 yugo receiver from nodak the back end is totally different the yugos toe out on the top of the receiver and the rivet holes are different they need to be filled redrilled also the pistol grip assembly is different it seemed like my only alternative nodak will make more of these and it can be done I talked to ak builder about some kinda flats and he said if he got enough people interested he might do it someday also if you do go this route get a m72 yugo rpk reciver because the top cover lock lines up with the top trunion rivet hole but the hole is too big I think Iam going to plug weld it but havent done it yet good luck I know how you feel. Also the easy way would be use a yugo rear end but I already have a yugo and wanted the club foot.

Holy sh*t! Punctuation, man! I think my eyes are bleeding.

You guys might want to try building on a blank. There's a sticky in the "Build It Yourself" forum called Building On A Blank (http://akfiles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34626), and it explains how to do it along with some tips and things to avoid.
