Good day everyone -

Is there anyone that has picked up the Yugo M57 Tokarev Pistol?

I'am a huge Yugo fan and was curious if you like your Tokarev?

I recently broke down and ordered one for my personal Yugo collection.

Any range reports out there?

These pistols are not very common.

Damn excited about the acquisition.

Your thoughts and comments are greatly appreciated.

Any Yugo fans out there?

IMHO everyone needs a Yugo in their arsenal. :)

If it came in 7.62x25 I would be much more tempted.

So that is not a typo, it really has a 9 round magasine?

I got 4 of the Yugo M57 from SOG!

2 of them came very good.... bore, blueing and all is excellent !the other 2 came kind of more worn on the blueing ! all came with 2 mags and holster and a cleaning tool.

The pistol shoots very good. it shot better than the regular TT maybe becasue of the extra size and weight. it takes a part much easier than the regular Tok.

Yes, the M57 has a longer mag well, grip, and magazine. As I understand it the spare magazines are difficult to find (not that I've spent a lot of time looking, since I don't have one). If there were a source of inexpensive spare mags (I like to have somewhere between 3 and 6 magazines for a pistol), I'd more seriously consider getting one for sure. As it is, I have to make do with my Polish Tok. :sidegrin_

I got very lucky last weekend (Saturday) at the Gun Show here in San Antonio, TX. :laugh_sma I found an excellent condition Yugo Tokarev M57 with Holster and 2 mags for $300.- out the door. :cool_smal I picked up another mag for an additional $20.- and all mags have the loop on the bottom of them. On Sunday, I went to the range and tried this beast out. :D It was an excellent and accurate shooter. Makes a great cousin to my 2 CZ-52's (7.62 x 25) and the ammo price is still excellent also. :p
