922(r) and SKS-M

Got a question here. I will have an SKS-M tomorrow (hopefully!). This is of course is the thumbhole stock, no bayo lug, version of the chinese SKS that takes AK mags.

I found some cool stuff at rifletech.com I want to put on the gun, including a bayonet.

I'm guessing if I built the gun to be 922(r) compliant I could put a bayonet on it?

Looking forward to some awesome range reports. I'm not really up on the 922(r) stuff, as I don't like to modify such a purdy gun. But you may find your answer by searching through this.
