I installed an Anti friction ball trigger on my M-91/30 Mosin. There are a couple of ways you can lighten a Mosin trigger, shims under the trigger spring, and so on. But this always results in a floppy trigger. I highly recommend the Hubert Concepts trigger. The set screw in the top of the trigger is adjustable by simply removing the bolt and adjusting with an allen wrench. You do not experience the floppy trigger syndrome because the ball below the set screw constantly rides against the trigger spring keeping the trigger tight at all times. They aren't cheap, but my opinion is that they are worth every penny. The only fall back with the trigger is that you can adjust it to the point were the firing pin will release simply by closing the bolt. They advice you to bounce test the rifle after adjusting, Unloaded of course!, by cycling the bolt and dropping the butt of the rifle about 5 inches from the floor, on a soft surface, to see if the firing pin will drop. You will find a sweet spot!
