I have ordered SAIGA 308 mags from them before. They shipped quickly. One mag arrived with a crack all the way up one side.I called and they ask me to ship it back and they would replace it.I returned the mag and a new one was sent that same day.I do not blame them for the cracked mag.I blame FED EX.The box it arrived in looked like they ran over it with thier truck.td

Do you mean atlanticfirearms.com?If so,yeah, they are as legit as can be.Dont know what gave you that impression.Prolly just paranoia since youve been burned.
If you dont know, alot of these company's are being bombarded with order's and phone calls since the majority's vote on our new president. Some have closed there doors to local sale's,and dont take phone calls at all.Only internet order's,and taking phone calls and dealing with the public slows them down.Plus, most are taking anywhere from 7 days,to three weeks to ship.
Coach
I bought a Romy G from them last Summer.
I would do business with them again in a heartbeat.
Now, how do I get The Warden to let me...

C'mon folks, pay attention.
The OP gave us "Atlanticarms.com" which is not anything gun related and appears to be malicious.
Don't just assume he meant Atlantic Firearms.
ETA: Upon further investigation, it's a phish (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/phishing) (not the band) site, taking advantage of people not knowing how to get to Atlantic Firearms (http://www.atlanticfirearms.com/) website.

Thanks Nal I Missed it Good Call.

Typical confusion.
It must be also noted that Atlantic Firearms is for the most part merely a middleman. He can stand behind his product 100% because he can return it to the manufacturer for a refund just like any other customer can.
Find the manufacturer of any rifle you desire and you can buy it direct from them and save the markup added to the price by middlemen like Atlantic Firearms.
Atlantic Firearms
We should probably clear a few things up from the above post, We stand behind the product we sell not because we can return them but becuase the customer paid money for a product and if there is a problem it is our part of the bargin to make it good. No it is not a simple as we can just return something you know as well as we do that warranty issues take time and are a pain in the butt. If we have a customer with a issue on a rifle we will either , replace it , repair or refund what ever the customer would like to do we even pay return ship. As far as buying the rifle direct and saving , kind of hard to do since most of our prices are the same as the factory or less and most of them can not be bought directly .

Like I said.
It nothing against you or anyone at Atlantic Firearms, but your comment above reaffirms that you are nothing more than a middle man that cuts your share from someone's pile and processes your returns like everyone else. All manufacturers will stand behind there product. All will satisfy a customer.
Well, I'll take that back. There is one manufacturer that blows customers off right and left and many have noticed you no longer carry their products.
Smart move on your part.

Please red my post. I never suggested that Atlantic Firearms had anything other than an excellent reputation. I said it appears that Atlantic has stopped selling product from certain problematic manufacturers.
Inquiring minds already know.

Dealing with a return through Blaine now and couldnt ask for anything better. He spent time contacting the dealer and setting up all possible options so I could choose which way I wanted to go.All shipping and ffl fee's have been refunded.
I know alot of people expect this type of service, but the simple fact is its not how it works a majority of the time.Im always thankfull when stuff works out smoothy as I got enough shit that doesnt to take care of.
Sucks haveing to go weeks without my rifle though!

A.F. is another one of those gougers that's becoming more prevalent in these times. From one day to the next he more than doubled the price of the Vector Arms RPD. I emailed them about it and I wish I had saved the reply, it would have given you a real insight into A.F.

My guess is you have never been in business, have always worked for someone else.
Retailers who buy from manufacturers or wholesalers and then sell to the public are not gougers. Manufacturers and wholesalers, for the most part, do not want to deal with Mr. Joe Public on his single item purchase, help him do the research he should have already done, and then possibly lose the sale to a competitor over a $2 difference in the price. They aren't staffed for it, they don't make enough money on time-consuming single item sales to justify being in business.
That is what a retailer is staffed and set up to do. And you pay a markup on what the retailer paid the manufacturer or wholesaler. Just the way it works.
If you think you can do it better, go into business manufacturing a product, try to keep production going while taking time to answer every dumb question you never before would have thought of, and still sell at 5% above your costs.

I emailed Vector Arms after my exchange with AF and they said that they hadn't raised their price on their RPD's. It would also stand to reason that it was an RPD or RPD's that had been in stock. Like I said before, I'm sorry I don't have a copy of my email exchange with AF to post here. It was eye opening. So what you're saying is that the industry isn't making enough money already, that they have to double their prices? Especially at a time when many true afficionados are doing poorly financially. I find that shameful. We are and will be the people who put the food on their families tables. And right now when people are buying like crazy anyway. Say what you want, it's no different than price gouging at the gas pump.
