Scope ID help

I have a scope that I believe is soviet.

It is marked as such-

VOMZ
p8x56
9401314

It has the post coming out of the bottom and two bars coming from the two sides east and west.

I have had it for quite a while.

Can't remember why I took it off,I think it had trouble keeping zero.

I am wondering if there is somewhere to have it checked out/fixed without breaking the bank.

Says here it's a pretty cheap one.
