m72 scope mounts

Did a search but didn`t find much. Any available worth getting? Thanks.

The earliest ones were steel and riveted and spot welded and looked similar to the Romanian PSL rail. The later ones were a different design that were also steel and were riveted. Here is an aluminum version similar to the later steel version but mounts with screws instead of rivets. I don't care much for the aluminum version. The screws thread directly in to the receiver sheet metal. The anodized one is dark the other one is bare aluminum and would be difficult to finish.

I just recieved a "scout scope mount". Atached it and it's solid. going to get a scope this afternoon to sight in tomorrow.

Got any pics? I`ve got an mpk2 rail kit from Tantal, haven`t mounted it yet. Might consider the scout to avoid drilling the receiver. Thanks.

I got pics on my phone but don't know how to upload. I also have side mount plate and scope mount uninstalled. I placed them on my reciever where it's supposed to go and found out that the rail is not center with the barrel. It's to the right about half inch. Also the mount covers serial number so probaly will not drill holes and install. The scout mount arrived to me in Hawaii in 3 days after placing order.
