How is the modification made to make SKS use AK mags? Anyone.... :confused:

Requires milling out the receiver well and welding a new mag latch. Unles you are a machinist .., let it go. Buy an AK or an SKS M or D that already takes AK maghs.

If your SKS is in nice shape you should think twice about this.

The bottom(sides) of the SKS bolt must be machined narrower to clear the AK magazine too. The SKS fixed magazine is more reliable and quick to recharge with stripper clips.
