looking for Galil buying advice

Greetings,

I've come across an Action Arms IMI Galil in mint condition and am thinking to buy it. It was bought some time ago, and might not be compliant with domestic content regulations.

Is it legal for me to buy it? What are the applicable federal laws?

Finally, what would be a fair price?

you have to check your state laws for ownership of the galil but i don't think oregon restricts military style weapons like kommiefornia does so you're probably good to go legally. so far as price is concerned galil arms rifles are concerned prices can range from 3000 - 4500. i've been looking at getting a galil rifle lately and the ones priced in the 3500-4500 are not moving but the ones in the 3k and below range are.

"Domestic content regulations" only apply to "NEW" guns.

Any IMI Galil is grandfathered.

Congrats! That's the gun to BUY!!! People aren't complaining about the "fakes" because they work... The original guns are boss and if you have a chance to get one for a reasonable price BAG IT!

Still kicking myself when I didn't buy one for $1500 last year. They are great rifles, pick it up if it is a reasonable price.
