View Thread: help with price S&W
festus
S&W model 28 4' 357 tuned up, shot competitively, marked NYSP, custom grips. Probably early 70's.
Bottom price is 450 ftf from retired officer. I like it. Am I nuts if I buy it? Have to let him know tomorrow.
If I get it I will be broker than I am now, but if I don't I might not have a chance later.

Sounds full boat for a well used piece. But not overpriced if it is tight and just
has finish wear. I passed on a smith 8" 22 mag for 465 asking this morning
because it had holster wear on the barrel. May regret it in the long run.

I have declined the offer, he might still have it until march and will sell it to me at the same price then. I really liked this gun too. Now I won't feel so bad being a cheap assed bastard this Christmas. I am stuck carrying old Nazi pistols in 32 caliber that wont stop wild eyed zombies, or try to conceal a 12 inch barrel contender down my pants. Life ain't fair.
