View Thread: Looking for a Krink SBR
chomama1
What a nightmare. Trying to find a milled underfolder 7.62 Krink. Found one at "Firing Line" and Mike Friend there says it has a fake suppressor that I can remove and put the cone flash guard on, after of course I get the SBR form approved. Wants $1699 for it. Actually, it's a side folder.
Local gun dealer here has a stanped Arsenal 107 that he recommends that I send off and get it made into a Krink. Don't know what to do.
Not the best time to be looking for a gun like this.

Amazingly, found a nice Krink at local gun store in Winchester, VA, nice Global receiver, made from Yugoslavian new parts kit, underfolder, test fired only, very nice gun, for $1049.00. I would like to replace the grip and forestock with black plastic/kydex or whatever, it comes with wood. Anyone know where to find that stuff and to insure that it will fit??
chomama1
What a bummer, I went into the gun store in Winchester, VA with the $ ready to buy the Krink and I just asked a question about the front sight on the gun and the dealer went off on me, accusing me of calling him a liar and on and on. I just wanted to talk about the gun. I guess the guy was having a bad day, but that's no way to do business, so we just left. I had to apologize to my friend who was with me. What a nut.

you can always buy a M92 parts kit, receiver.........do the form 1........... after receiving the approved form 1 back, send it off to a gunsmith with a SOT, he builds it and sends it right back to you.
most folks go that route.

I would be extremely shocked if that was still available....especially now, since the feeding frenzy is really into it.

I, too, doubt seriously that the Vector SBR is still available, but I will call Monday to find out.
Local dealer has a Arsenal 107UR that I understand can be made easily into a Krinkov. I also understand that there were some cycling issues when shortening the 16" barrell. Anyone know if this is solved?
John@JCDLESales
Get a Virgin Kit and a NoDakSpud DCI M92 Receiver and send it to me with $650.00 plus $20.00 shipping and I'll build you one just like below minus the Red Dot and Mount done in a Very Deep Black Parkerizing.

I bid $2850 on Arsenal SFK Krinkov on Gun Broker and didn't break the reserve. No telling what they want for it. I would love to have it, but just too much $. Love the ambi selector.
John@JCDLESales
Cho "Get Away From The Fumes" Big Breaths and find a M92 Kit for around 600 Beans. Trust me you'll have a wonderful Krink and you'll love it. Milled Schmilled go with a Stamped, which is lighter and if anything ever goes wrong with the Stamped Receive you replace it very simple. A Milled you have to go to the only folks I know making a Milled Receiver,The Firing Line unless they ever go out of business. Order a NoDakSpud M92 Receiver or 2 if you think you'll want another M92 or just a Backup and don't look back.
chomama1
I did bid on it, but didn't make reserve. Yeah, you're right, I think that is a little too much. Arsenals are going for big $, a milled blonde wood AK full stock rifle just sold for $2400. I did buy a milled Arsenal underfolder for $1600 on Gun Broker, and that was a lot less than I have seen them go for. I could have had the same gun for $1100 at local gun store two months ago. When I get the fever, I get the fever.
chomama1
That Arsenal SFK Krinkov is back on Gun Broker, high bid is $3200 and still hasn't met the reserve price. Too rich for my blood.
John@JCDLESales
Too Rich For Anybody's Blood. The AK Availabily Scare Tactic "Oh We Only Have 30 ?? That Will Go To The Consumer Public" Is Total Horse Shit!!! If the Wind Does Blow The Wrong Way I hope they get stuck with ALL. K-Var the same in all their Infinate Wisdom of Higher Prices Means Quality is going to see the changing times not that this will influence them into "Coming Down To Earth" with their pricing also. Be Sharp In Your Purchases! And to do so you have to check daily to see just what AK's,Parts And Accessories are doing with regard to pricing. A Smart Shopper Is An Informed Shopper so you must keep yourself INFORMED on a daily basis. ;)

3200.00 - is stupid high.....emphasis on stupid.

Great advice from all, I am now trying to contact Firing Line.
chomama1
I have contracted with Firing Line in Oklahoma for a Bulgarian Krink, milled receiver, side folder, Krebs rail, 7.62x39. It's not cheap, but it's what I want. I sold two AR15's to finance it.
chomama1
I upped the ante on the milled receiver Krink that firing line is doing for me, by getting them to fit a Krebs rail for front hand guard.
chomama1
Thought I would bring all up to date on my new Krink. I am trying to post a photo, may take a couple of tries. I am just waiting for ATF paperwork.

"milled" receiver...."stamped" underfolder.....wonder why they don't use milled underfolder to make it more "complete"

The 7,62 mm AR-SF is a highly effective automatic weapon designed for the antipersonnel role at a range of 500m. The system operated on propellant gasses diverted through a vent in the barrel.
The barrel chamber is closed by turn of the bolt and engaging the firing stops in the receiver.
The weapon is characterized by milled receiver made according to the method of hot die forging
Single and multiple targets can be destroyed by firing at a range of 250m. Skilled marksmen can hit targets in the single-shot mode up to 350m. The bullet has a lethal range of 1100m.
A metal folding butt and a shortened barrel are fitted to the rifle so the constriction generally features a basic individual weapon of assault and special task group.
The weapon fires 7,62mm cartridges (7,62 x 39 mm).
The 7.62 AR-SF has metal down folding butt
