can a u.s. gun dealer/smith legally have a mag or some other non receiver or barrel part drop shipped to a u.s. address from canada or switzerland?

(My opinion only) NO

When anything is imported or exported into the US. You usually need an import/export lincense. This paperwork has the goods being transported and it route and end user. If this does not happen an importer/exporter will loose the privilenge to work in the industry for life and any other member of that industry that does any business with bannished also is banned.

So if stuff shows up that is not supposed to show up, then expect POO POO to rain down upon you in BIBLICAL ammounts.

Any way only buy stuff where there is no problems with providence.

Any money you could make using this slick move - you could make just as much money and easily more with-in the law/rules and never look over your scholder or justify yourself to any one. You must accesss risk in any business idea. ??How much in-justice can you afford from the justice system?? If you only make $$ and it costs you $$$$$$ in legal fees and 4 years on probation - it is a baudde business move!!!!

(My opinion only)

you typed all that shit out, only to be wrong.

yes, you can have a magazine shipped to you from another country.

as always though, you run the risk of customs snatching it up. most of the time, it will make it through. anything valued at over 100 dollars has to have tax paid on it.

you dont need any license to have 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 magazines shipped to you from over seas.... just dont be over 100 bucks or its tax time.

In order to implement the AW ban on hi-cap mags, ATF made a reg that all mags over 10 rds need a form 6 permit to import, even if it's just 1 and under $100. the AW ban went away but their reg lives on.

If there is no problem, ???? why would US Customs snatch it up???? Nice the UPS man is early - wait where the brown truck and who are the guyz in the suits.

I still glad I am wrong on this.

I will improve on my type-ing skills.
