Anyone tried the Eotech knock offs?

Found a bunch on ebay, figure if they are durable you cant go wrong. Anyone have any experience with them?

No, but I tried one of the doctor knock offs and it has no on off switch and kills
the battery. It's little light sensor circuit doesn't seem to sense. 45.00 piece
of shelf junk. Someday I'll find a switch to wire in. I'm tempted, but next time
I am sticking to a well known brand with a long warranty.

i have an aimpoint clone and it is very durable and works great. i know they are two different animals though.

Cool, Iim thinking about getting the Eotech one for my 5.45 AR. Just cant afford the price tags of the originals. Hope someone chimes in on them :D

you are 100% correct. i got the clonepoint to goof around with.

i have a leupold vari-x ii 3-9x40.. sucks in more light and is way clearer and more forgiving than my simmons 4-12.5x 50. no doubt you get what you pay for.

however, when your broke, a clonepoint is better than nopoint!

Exactally. It's just a light projected on a window. But if it holds zero, I'm happy as a clam. My cousin has an eotech knock off, I'll see if I can play with it on my AK.
