If anybody has a VEPR stock laying around, the synthetic one with the pistol grip attached, I'd like to buy it.

A snowball's chance in hell you'll find one laying around.

Robinson Armament Company isn't much help when it comes to parts but you can try asking them if they have any pistol grip Vepr II stocks left.

they dont.

i already tried calling them....they kept saying- maybe, then never called me back

If they say "maybe" I'd keep after it and try to find out. Their supply of Vepr's quit on short notice to them and they may well have left over conversion parts.

go with the ace or tromix

If you're offering it up that's mighty nice of you however it will devalue your rifle conciderably if you ever sell as one like yours sat on GB for months unsold.

I don't buy a rifle with the idea of "someday" selling it for a better price, or buying low and selling high...like in Wall Street.

I buy it to enjoy it as much as I can...while I'm alive.

Replacing the VEPR stock resulted in a flush installation, rock solid and multiple stock options. Adapted for ACE, Tromix and AR15 stocks. Folding mechanism, sling loop. Additionally, multiple pistol grip options.

I have another VEPR, different caliber and unmolested anyways.
I have over 175 firearms and if I ever have to sell my sh*t there's a lot of stuff before my VEPR. I'm not thinking that far ahead since I'll probably die before selling any of my guns. 25 years collecting and I've only sold 2 guns to a relative 15 years ago (a Galil and a Python .357, don't even miss them).

Meanwhile I enjoy my sizable collection.
A f*cking stock is not gonna keep me awake at night.

Life is too short, IMO. ;)

OK

I had a 50 piece collection and realized all these guns sitting in cases did me no good so I'm selling off now.

Also I expect to see a tax stamp imposed per gun owned and tax of $50 to $100 imposed on each transfer with FTF tranfers becoming illegal. You will see an armorers tax also. It's coming, instant fellony with non-compliance. Once a tax is imposed your collection will become worthless as no one will pay the additional cost of ownership.

I have the 47 and the 74 VEPRII, I sold off my 308. I will keep these two, if I'm forced to fight these would be my choice. I have adequate supply of ammo for these also, a gun without ammo is worthless.

I'm sorry to hear such a pesimistic future.
Let's hope it doesn't come to that within the next 30 years...at least. :D

I've been stockpiling ammo ever since last year.

No I'm not a pesimist. I follow the logic and the time will come soon. Either the tide will turn and 90% of America will embrace military style guns or thier will be permenant restrictions and the best way to do that is with the Tax Stamp.

Well, hopefully we can encourage potentially new military gun owners to own and enjoy these rifles. Specially the ones reading these posts.
Heaven knows that we need more folks to help us disentisize an already biased population.

Back in 2004 the AWB was allowed to expire without being re-instated...with a Democrat Congress majority and a Republican President (Bush) who said that would've signed the renewal.
The 2008 AWB HR 6257 bill, introduced and sponsored by Republican Congressmen, didn't even made it to committee. At the very least we can be happy about that.

So as an advocate of RKBA I suggest anyone reading here to go out and buy your rifles, beware of new gun control measures and participate in the political process. We need your support.

We'll find out in about 3 days. O the dictator.

Well, we can all throw our crystal balls out the window these days.
Things change in a hurry.

I sold the VEPR stock for $40.00 at a gun show this weekend and
I had 2 buyers interested in buying the "folder" VEPR for more
than $1,200.00.
They we're adamant about wanting it with the folder. :D
