VEPR difference question

Will the VEPR 7.62 x 39 stock fit the Vepr 308? (the single piece, pistol grip + buttstock)

i assumed they are interchangible...but thought i'd ask first

I haven't tried to switch them but it should fit.

I tried to put a Vepr x39 Robarm stock on my Vepr 308 with t-hole stock, it doesn't fit. With some modifications it looks like it will fit. A dremel and file would work.
