SVT-40 repro mag manufacturuers??

who makes the RUSSIAN TOKAREV, SEMI AUTO RIFLE stamped repro mags?

I've read that they're Taiwanese...

But the lady at Hunter's Lodge resolutely and adamantly assures me that hers are not repro's and manufactured in Russia by special order for HL.

the ones at Numrich are 50$...the ones at HL are 80$...

any info??

Stay away from hunters lodge I bought a mag from them they said it was original and it was a repro also it didnt lock into the rifle properly I had to take the trigger out to get it back out for 80 bucks and they charged me a restocking fee the ones numrich sells are exactly the same and they at least say some fitting required I will never deal with hunters lodge again they also said they have a svt 40 and the mag worked fine I even went to the better business and they didnt respond

Guy on gunboards has 2 originals for sale $200 or best offer They are not cheap but they are original

So, I ordered another pair of mags...this time from Numrich for 50 bucks a pop....

got them today in the mail...

Comparing the Numrich Taiwanese magazines to the supposed Russian mags from Hunters Lodge....guess what?

they are the same...right down to the identical colored protective oil they are saturated in...only the ones from Hunter's Lodge were wiped clean of the oil on the outside....inside the mags sat a puddle of the same yellow, same viscosity oil...

I wonder if they's pulling a fast one or if Taiwan and Russia are using the same oil for shipping /storage /protection??...

I'll be sending back the con artists magazines and chargebacking my Mastercard...hopefully avoiding their 15%restocking fee and other penalties for returns....I think my CC company will understand since Hunter's Lodge has just outright LIED to my ear hole about these mags being made in Russia special order.
