We arrived at the show around 8 AM and were able to park in the grass area to the right about 300 yards from the ticket gate. I didn't have enough cash to go to the show so the day before I sold an XD to a friend for cash and a Marlin youth .22 cal. I sold the .22 to a fellow while standing in line to pay at the entrance for $120.00 just enough to pick up another Mosin if I could find one. One tent had about 6 m91/30's going for $115.00. I hoped I would find someone selling bulk M44's for a good price but no luck on that. I cruised the tables in the barn quickly looking for nothing but Mosins and found very few. I purchased an Izzy M38 a guy had for $100.00 with a great looking bore and stock. One table had a Westinghouse M91/30 and a Chinese M44 which were the first I had ever seen, and only one sniper out of the entire show that was a Fin with a PU going for $900.00. My step brother and I picked up some Wolf 7.62 x 39 for $180.00 per 1,000 which is cheaper than Ammoman on line for $200.00 shipped. Not much 54R ammo to be found but I did pick up some Rommy rounds from a broken case for $4.00 per 10. One interesting thing that happend, my brother and I were resting at the top of the hill from the machine gun rentals waiting for dad to catch up when a ricocheted .50 cal round from the heavy machine gun range smacked the top of the junk car we were leaning on and landed on the ground next to us! Nice souvenir but damn!:laugh_sma
