View Thread: Concealed Carry Leg/Ankle Holsters - Lichtenberg Research

Yesterday I received a concealed carry ankle holster from Lichtenberg Research. He's the one who also builds magwells for drumfed AK's

I am tall and thin. No beer gut to stash my pistol under - no bulk where it will blend in. Concealed carry in Texas warm weather clothing has always been a problem. I feel guilty whenever I leave my pistol behind. This ankle/leg holster is perfect and comfortable to wear - $25 shipped via discreet paypal

Also some other carry models to choose from, economically priced

Ankle ?
For driving , it will be alright.
but when you start running, kicking, you will see....how you love it.

Better wear Bell Bottoms or somebody looking down will see it. Heck, my .22 Beretta shows if you look close.
And ya gotta use two hands to get the pant leg up to get at your piece while squatting down or bending over.
Better than nothing though.

Etek, I have one also for the 950. My best friend is a cop and a terrible hand-gunner. But he blew me away when I saw him pull a model 36 smith from a leg
holster and empty it. 6'4" guy and was 4 or 5 times faster than I am at it. It's
all what you practice I guess.

Perfectly true.

But even with my tiny Beretta I find concealment to be a problem.

My intent is not to be Quick Draw McDraw. But I'd rather have it on me, than left at home because of difficulty concealing it. I wear loose jeans & boots, which help make it un-noticable

I hate to be the one to say it, but nice leg Steve. Just kidding. Looks like a good holster for someone of your stature. You are built like me, except a little taller and have no other place to conceal one.

That's not my leg. It's a photo from Roger's website. I am real thin, but right above my boot it blends in pretty good.

Most of the time I can't carry because I'm on the road. We never know where we're going next (clearing customs in Mexico / Canada) so that rules it out. Firearms aren't permitted in the cockpit when hauling cargo. That needs fixed

When I use my ankle rig I carry my Beretta on right leg with butt facing 45 degrees to the right with pistol almost in front of my leg.
Inside leg won't work (Can't run) and it prints gun.
Try it every way you can guys if you choose ankle carry. But the smaller the piece the better.
