Is a 1/7 or 1/9 5.56mm NATO barrel available? [Archive]

Are there nice 5.56mm barrles out there for AK's with 1 in 7 or 1 in 9 twist?

None that I have seen but you could get a blank and have it contoured and chambered but I would think it would be exspensive.

Sure there are....K-Var has them. 1/7" twist.

From a personal conversation with Vartan, president of Arsenal Inc., they are 1/7" twist.
