romak fpk blueing ???????????

My romak fpk barrel is a rusty red color (it's not rust).
In front of the mag well it reads ROMAK FPK DRAGUNOV KNOX TN.
Should I reblue the barrel.
and is the 8x42D scopes any good.
I can get one around 120.00.

I will be thankful for any help that is given

not quite sure about the barrel. the finish isnt bluing to begin with.its a phosphate finish. a pic would help. sometimes the grease they put on them for storage dries and looks like rust. alot of oil and elbow grease will remove this(did i mention alot of elbow grease).

the price on the scope isnt bad, IMHO. if you wait you might find a better price.
