New RPD

I just ordered a new Vector RPD. How many times do you charge the bolt to get a round into the chamber. What spare parts should I buy, and what is the best gas setting to set to. I know that this stuff is in the manual, but want to hear from people who shoot them, and any other info will also be helpful, gun should be here at the end of the week. Thanks, Jerod

Belt in feed tray charge shoot. Middle setting for Gas. Shoot on my friend and enjoy. :D

really there is nothing else to know about it.........as for spare parts, VECTOR has a excellent warranty period, 5 years, so you should need no spare parts

Congratulations on making the move to get the RPD that you have been trying to source. Make sure you have plenty of belts and ammo. I went the route of a Polish kit with a receiver to build this winter. Enjoy and give us a range report when you get a chance.

It is built on a polish parts kit, have heard good things about them. Have a polish U/F, and if the workmanship is the same, it will be great. Also what is the normal price for belts, and where to get them. Can you put 2 50 rd belt together, or do they make longer belts,, I hear 100 are out there. Thanks, Jerod
