Romanian SKS

anybody have any idea how many sks's were produced in romania.
the reason i ask is i just tack'ed one out. shortened barrel, converted it to take ak mags, put it in a ati folding stock. and my buddy the "collector" is piching a huge bitch over it.
i got it from one of the nieghbors who owed me a 100 bucks and gave me the rifle for payment. i had no use for it so i decided to play. i've got all the parts parked just need to moly resin. i've put about 300 rounds through it and it functioned 100%. compliance parts are a little tough to get for an sks but its good.

About 500,000,from 1957 to 1960,1958 and1959 being the higest production years.

I also heard only a small amount were imported,I don't have a figure on that however.
