The gun started life as a Norinco Hunter. Troy Sellars of In-Range cut the receiver back and replaced it with a demilled rear end of a Israeli Galil complete with the IDF crest. I sbr'd the receiver and cut the barrel to 11". I need to repark the top cover, gas tube, front sight and safety selector to match the receiver/barrel/flashhider.

I test fired it Monday night and it functions perfect. Gas port is slightly on the small as it throws brass only about 5 feet. I don't mind this as the recoil impulse is nice and easy.

Thanks,
Darin

Man that is really sweet! So how much did you put into it?

About $900
The parts kit was the biggest expense.

Troy finished mine too.

Made mine about a year and a half ago.

Very nice rifle. If you don't mind, could you email me (acrpeeps@aol.com) and tell me what you put in section i. (state why you intend to make a firearm) of the SBR form? I am filling one out for an AMD hybrid I am working on and wanted to know what would be best to put here. Any tips you could give me to make sure things go as quickly as possible would be very helpful.
