View Thread: Got my AES-10B refinished (w/pics)

Thanks to the guys at TNW www.tnwfirearms.com/ (http://www.tnwfirearms.com/) I got my AES-10B refinished and the correct bipod installed. The FSB could not be removed, so they actually cut the bipod to get it around the barrel. They did a great job parkerizing the rifle for me and I'm very happy. I'd recommend TNW in a heartbeat for being great to deal with, doing great work, and not costing me an arm and a leg.

I redid the wood myself. First I cleaned all the wood with dishwasher soap and scotchbrite. I decided not to stain it to see how it would come out. I just used tung oil on the wood, rubbing it down between each coat with fine steel wool. Three coats in all. I'm pretty happy with the results. BSW

Wow that does look good, they did a great job and the wood looks good too. Really nice.

And the three Amigo's never fail to give me the urge to get one.
