Received a letter from the KDOJBOF (Kalifornia Department of Justice Bureau of Firearms). (I have an 07FFL)

It states that after July 1st 2008, An FFL cannot ship a firearm to a Kalifornia FFL without obtaining a "verification approval number" from the KDOJBOF.

In order for me to obtain this "verification approval number" (which will be provided to me in a letter sent by them, not an online system), I must REGISTER with the KDOJBOF. Yeah, that's gonna happen.

The stupidity of this: this approval number lets ME know that the FFL is properly licensed and in the Kali database of persons "authorized" to receive firearms shipments.

This is already covered under the EZCheck system the ATF has that confirms the validity and shipping address of the FFL.

Just like the frog in the pot of water on the stove: turn the heat up a degree at a time, and you can boil him alive.

Live in Kommiefornia? RIBBIT, RIBBIT!

You are freakin' nutz.

kinda makes you wonder how many millions of dollars they are going to waste on this nonsense.

The kicker is, it does not effect non-FFLs in sending a firearm to california FFL, just FFL to FFL

This state is full of complete morons, especially the people writing and approving these laws.

tell me about it, the way i look at it is kommiefornia is wining at limiting ffl transfers into the state and slowly stopping importation of firearms into their little communistic state, a friend who is a ffl and shop owner said something about micro stamped bullets by 2010 as the regulation, and in the county they have to sell copper bullets because lead is killing condors, i mean the cheap 7.62x39 was 20 bux a box for what looked like surplus

Sounds like somebody in state government there doesn't understand that the "F" in "FFL stands for "Federal."
