View Full Version : Weiger STG940 - has anyone ever seen the furnitre for one of these?
I really like the look of the STG940 rifle and especially the furniture. I had a flyer from a company (which I cannot remember) that manufactured the furniture for it. I probably threw it out around '95.
Am I the only one who likes this rifle and its' furniture?

That company was called "Stock Options" - I had a Stock Options furniture set for a standard AK some time back but sold it. The plastic was kinda crummy, actually, but they were the first to get into the US Compliant parts game. I think they are long out of business.
I also handled the Stg940/Weiger kit on a rifle at a gunshow and liked the way it felt. I think that Hesse may have handled these parts for a while, but I don't know if anyone is making them. Please let us know if you find any out there, the molds must be around somewhere!
Ergonomically, I find the Galil the most comfortable of the AK variants, esp. the most recent ARs.

I think this is what you are looking for. This goes back about 10 years ago(at least before the awb) I had several sets of these stock sets from Stock Options.
Most of them were junk. I really like the looks of the Weiger also, so I saved this one and reinforced the handguards with a steel insert. Hesse also made some of these handguard sets they were worse quality than the Stock Options stuff.
