ak reciever

I am thinking about building my own rifle ,as funds are short right now, where can I get a reciever already formed and ready to go? And how much $ will it take? I am pretty handy but the tool collection is basic. No drill press , vice, all that good stuff.
Please throw any advice my way that may be helpful. I have no real idea what is all involved in this project. I am thinking something in a thumbhole stock and 7.62 x 39. Buying parts a little at a time.

Do a search of Vulcan receivers. I have built on 3 and there are a number of members who have used them with little or no trouble.
