How do I remove the Thumbhole Stock of my VEPR Carbine? Help Pls

Hey guys,

Can anyone advise me as to how to take the Stock of my VEPR. Under the dust cover i can see the 2 screws which i have removed but there seems to be something else holding it or maybe i need to yank it more...

Any ideas would be appreicated.

I am not to familiar with the thumbholes but they should have a screw going
down through the pistol grip portion of the stock from the bottom inside of the
receiver. Pull the carrier out and you should see it. Just a educated guess on
my part.

As bigwheel said. Unscrew the pistol grip cup and You'll see a screw that goes through the pistol grip and into a Pistol Grip Nut inside the receiver. Good luck.

Thanks guys, got it!!

I had to disassemble the VEPR to get the barrel out as I sent it away for threading and a custom suppressor.

I will post pix soon for those interested. :)
