Bought a .308 Saiga last year under the ban, plan to convert it to a PG in the next couple of months; am I okay with none US parts now?

I believe there isn't a single US part in it, since it does not come with a pistol grip......if you are going to put a PG on it, you are going to have to replace it with enough parts to make the foreign parts count 10 or less.

Now that the ban is gone, do I have to use US part to convert to pistol grip, even if my Saiga .308 was purchased during the ban?

if the saiga didn't have a pistol grip on it, then yes you will have to put US parts in it, to make the foreign part count 10 or less.......the ending of the 94 ban did not end the import parts count, unless of course you bought the weapon before the 89 ban.

Is there a mag available for a .308 saiga that holds more than 10 rounds ? I don't believe so. If not, doesn't that make a saiga .308 fall under the same rules as a ROMAK III ? No USA parts are required in a ROMAK III because no mags over 10 round capacity were ever made.

Isn't BATF goobledegoop fun :)
