Romanian SAR-1 folder

Got around to putting my Romanian side folder on today. Looks great! It is a 2000 model. US parts are Ironwood pistol grip, front hand guard, RSA hammer/trigger/sear, US gas piston, and front slant brake.

I needed a pic to drool over while I was waiting.
Was it one of the ones that were welded?

Wow! That's some of the nicest wood I've ever seen on a Kalashnikov.

Thanks for the compliments guys. The wood is Walnut from Ironwood that I steel wooled a bit to get it nice & smooth then used lemon oil on it. As for the stock, it was a functional folder when I bought it. I paid $35 for it awhile back waiting for the sunset so I could install it.
