Lex, I bought it. I dont know if there are going to be anymore like it in NY. The dealer I bought it from said he had a heck of a time getting COBIS to test fire it, and they said they wouldn't do anymore. I picked up this one because I tried to get another dealer friend of mine to get me a Krink pistol and COBIS turned him down flat.

I don't think I would mess with trying to build a pistol in NY. Too much hassle. I stick to rifles only. I still have yet to build my first AK. I have a Romy (well most of it anyways) that I would like to do. I just haven't gotten around to it yet. Too many FALs to finish, and muskets to redo!

Thats right, you still need a bolt and carrier huh. was looking at Kvar the other day and they got the carrier for about 20, bolts still a bit more. But look at it like this, if you have to buy the bolt and carrier youll still be cheaper than todays kit prices. When I get settled in and unpacked we should get your kit built up.

I found a bolt and carrier, a couple of them in fact. However, some of the parts from that kit got used on the pistol to make it able to accept a rifle forearm. It wouldn't take much to get my kit up and running though. I would love to get together for a build party. Let me know when you get unpacked! I want that baby up and running!!!!
