What is the deal with Sarco Inc?

I am wondering if anyone has ever ordered from www.sarcoinc.com? I am also wondering if there 1911 parts kits are any good? I am very interested in purchasing one from them so anyone who has purchased any items from them let me know their reputation.

Have bought from them for years Machinegun Dave has hooked me up on many the "Hard To Come By Parts".

when you call you will get a order taker (a old lady) ask to talk to the person that deals with the parts you are looking for let them know what you want, get the guys name and ask for him in the future try and give them part numbers they like that.
If you email them its slow and sometimes no reply
phone calls may take a couple tries
I have never faxed orders in so I dont know

There an hour ride for me so I stop in now and then

I picked up a 1911 builders kit a while back, the complete minus frame kit. The breach face off the slide wasnt machined, which if you know how to do that, great, now you can make it any caliber you want. I dont so I had to buy another slide out the market place. The firing pin hole was 100% drilled either, but needle file should fix that. The recoil spring plunger was missing, but the lady on the phone was helpful and sent it out no prob. The parts seem ok, but I havent built with them yet, still holding out for my frame.

They have some good stuff. The weak part of the business is their customer service, sometimes slow replies, sometimes none. They will not try and cheat you, but sometimes you do have to be persistant to get an answer.
