Heres another one for the gun rack test fired it sat it had a couple mis feeds but I think I fixed that I will find out this week end.

Nice Looking Build!!!

Been Looking at Apex RPKs, what was the condition of the bore on your kit?

Were any parts missing from your kit?

I picked it up when they where on sale $250.00

The bore had nice groves and landings, dark but it cleaned up well
It did fail the bullet test !

But shoots very good

It was missing some small parts like cleaning rod, firing pin,hammer and spring

I just wanted something different

only allowed 15ers here and I dont think they make a 15 so a 10 rd it is
Maybe a road trip is needed and a block.
It realy should have a drum

I think it looks great Just need to get a 30 rnd Mag & put a block in it. Pop Rivets work also even Colt used to Pop rivet there 20 Rnd mags to hold only 10 rounds back in the early part of the Mag Ban days.

not sure I only have the romy RPK
but the Yugo rifle gaurds are longer and the retainers look differant

junkmanted,would look better with a correct rpk sling with a pad on it.yugo and romy rpk handguards are different

It needs a old beat up sling if its new it wont look right... the guy that carried this in the field might have used a rope or a couple of old shoe strings !!! ;)
