Your web page indicates you use 4150 for your barrels. What steel is used for the receivers, front trunion and bolt carriers?

That'll do. Enjoy the weekend. More of a curiosity than an earth shattering need for info

@mauser416

The receiver is made from 4130 alloy steel.

The front trunnion and carrier are made from AISI 4140 alloy steel.

Thanks,

Josiah

PSA, I have the second gen with the star marked trunnion. Supposed to be billet. What is that made of? I know I may buck some trends but for the money I think you guys do/did make a decent product and tried to do better with feedback. I’ve only put about 200 rounds through it and will put a lot more before I can really say if it’s good or not. Especially since I put a binary trigger in it. So we shall see. One thing I can say off the bat is the center support rivet just seems really weak. All my combloc ak’s have a real beefy one. Yours is just too small. (The heads) but all in all, as I said for the price I like what you’ve done and hope you guys continue to improve and put out more and more models.

If it is our Liberty AK, it has a billet trunion.

Thank you!
