Private Messages Keep Turning Off?

I keep getting this error when trying to send a PM:

You have turned off private messages. You may not view or send private messages until you turn them on by editing your profile.

However, I do NOT have them turned off. I get this while trying to reply to a PM I received.

Help?

I looked at your profile in the Admin area. You have it all set correctly. The only thing I did, just as a stab in the dark, was to check the box to have a pop up appear when you receive a private message. I have no reason to think this will fix it. Just grasping there.

I will send a message to the SUPER Admin (Jen) and see if she can look into it. I DO know she will be unable to mess with it immediately as she is setting up for a show this weekend.

I will send you a PM and see what happens.
