Hi New here,

Can the front pistol grip on the Amd's be removed and replaced with standard ak handgaurds?

Yes they can. They will need to be modified slightly though. If you look inside the lower handguard retainer on the AMD's you will see a bump on either side. To make a standard lower handguard fit you will have to cut a notch on both tsides of the front of the handguard so it will clear the bumps on the retainer. Took me about 5 minutes with an x-acto knife.
