I dunno, aren't Poles Slavic? Shouldn't that make him more coherent w.r.t. a Slavic firearm? Or am I just hoping in vain?

Poles just have a different way of looking at things. After an
explanation, it usually makes sense. If not, you just have a
closed mind.
