that is a overpriced knock off of a ACE folding stock.........which you can buy for 65 bucks from ACE.

You would know better than I (so that I know for future reference), but how are you sure that Ace isn't a knock off of the Falcon? I guess the fact that they have multiple configurations of the same stock is one clue. I like the styling on this folder. I find it to be very unique from the one's I have seen. Thank you very much for saving me $20.00. I will be thinking about this thread when I have a few extra beers at the bar on you.

Do you know if this model interferes with the ejection port?

ACE came out with that folder shortly after the sunset of the AWB. the falcon knockoff just came on the market last month.

Look at the butt plate. I still say it is made from a Galil stock.

It is patterned after the Galil stock. I have also read that the Galil Stock was patterned from the FAL folder. Does anyone know if this is an accurate statement.
16r40 - I to don't like the adapter on there either. But the stock looks great. Does anyone know if a real Galil stock can be put on a Romy without gunsmithing? Where can you buy real replacement Galil stocks?
Thanks for the input guys.

Yes it is after the FAL Stock. Fal was aluminum tubes and the Galil was steel tubes.

All ACE parts in these stock kits are precision CNC machined in the USA from 6061 T-6 Heat treated aluminum. They are then aluminum oxide blasted for a mat finish then type 3 mil-spec anodized for a durable and corrosion free finish. The folding stock mechanism is machined from 7075 T-7 Al which is pound for pound stronger then steel! And then receives the same hard anodized finish. We use Delrin for the top bar and brace on the AKFX skeleton stock (even though it is more expensive than aluminum) so that the operator will have a more comfortable cheek weld. Delrin is an engineered plastic that is extremely strong, can be machined and it will insulate the operator's face from vibration and extremes in temperature.

The original Ace buttstocks were made using FN Minimi folding stock parts but now Ace makes their own parts.

The Falcon stock claims that it does not interfere with the ejection port. Does anyone know if the same is true for the Ace stock?

I don't like folders period, and it ain't couse I'm partial to wood. I would NEVER have any adapter anything. If I can't have the real thing I'll pass.
Ya looks hokey with the adapter.

I said the FN Minimi but they were FN FNC folders made in Indonesia not Minimi stocks. Those were the very first Ace stocks. Most are based on the FNC design now but they do make other designs too.

How can you post info like that without actual knowledge on the issiue?
Did you handled and compared both assemblies side by side to compare design?
$64 buys you only ACE stock frame w/o hinge that by itself cost $90 then adapter $40.
At $93 Falcon is actually a bargain compared to ACE.
Falcon for long time was supling US made FAL Para kits, that included folding stock. They adapted it now for AKM.
If it is FAL patern is well worth money compared to ACE mickey mouse contraption.
I think they need to make proper rear AKM trunion to complement stock and I would buy it. With adapter it look out of place

Actually it is a FAL para stock. Look at the block the stock tubes go in in the post with the Falcon stock and the Gilil stock. They are way different. The stock looks just like the one I have on my FAL para.

I got one the other day $100.00 del. It is made from aluminum not part plastic like ace. this quote is from there web page. ACE Original Skeleton Stock. End cap and butt are machined from solid aluminum billet, oxide blasted and hard anodized. Top bar and center brace are turned from the super strong engineered polymer Delrin. The falcon stock is made in the U.S.A. so it will count as an american made part. This is just my .02 good luck

I have the Ace folder w/ the internal receiver block(had to remove tang). It is very nicely made and strong.
The Ace folder can be adjusted to not interfere with the ejection port/carrier...or have it fold to the left side(that's how I like it).
BUT...It will cost you in the range of $165.00 with the adapters and folding mechanism.

+1 on the ace stock. the external block just looks wrong. someone needs to come up with a decent adapter for the para stock.
