Received my case of 42 Croatian mags about 25 minutes ago. This is what the box looked like:

Bottom (tape was still intact. This was after I verified all mags present)

You guys can do better than this. When I picked the box up off my front step, three mags fell out the bottom. Really?

The box itself seems sturdy, but a 2000+ mile journey of a package weighing almost 37 lbs, while being manhandled throughout, requires reinforcement of the corners, and/or double boxing.

I appreciate the great deal on these mags, and am relieved that they were all present, but that packaging is beyond unacceptable.

edit: issue resolved

after waiting on hold for 56 minutes, I spoke with Dave @ PSA. He is sending me 10 replacement magazines. Thanks Dave!

the funny thing is that they excessively taped one end and just said fuck it and put one piece of tape on the other end

I suspect that they will have a lot of missing item complaints on these...

I called them almost 30 minutes ago and have been on hold ever since...

It started out at a 57 minute wait time and slowly trickled down to 25 minutes.

Now it suddenly jumped back to 52, 55, and now 64 minutes.



Now I understand all of the "NIGHTMARE PSA CUSTOMER SERVICE" posts

Still waiting on a package I ordered on 12/13/16. I received half my order, they shipped it in 2 separate boxes. I guess 1 box was damaged in transport and was shipped back to them. PM'ed PSA 1/2/17, they said customer service will contact me......... no contact, still waiting................

As we informed in the IM, your 2nd package was damaged in shipment by UPS and returned to us. UPS is investigating, and CS is working on replacing that portion of the order.

Ordered mine on 28 Dec received today(5 Jan). packaging was fine- one piece of tape, top and bottom, but no problems

I bought SIX cases of the Croatian mags....252 mags total....
Fortunately none were lost in transit... but EVERY case was split or torn at the seams and re-taped due to uncaring packaging at the Palmetto shipping department.

I have bought THOUSANDS of dollars of product from Palmetto EVERY year...yet their shipping practices during 2016 have been abhorrent. The absolute worst this year of any previous year.

I also bought (60) of the M2A1 .50 Cal ammo cans from Palmetto during their Black Friday Sale and reported my lousy packaging experience here:

"What I was NOT impressed with was the piss poor packing by Palmetto. Their shipping department needs to have their manager fired.

Of the six boxes received...ALL were torn open or split. None of the cans were lost...but many were exposed. Several had been re-taped by UPS while in transit. Some cans had made contact with the ground and had the paint ground off to bare metal. Packing materials were nothing more than flat pieces of cardboard stacked together with brown paper haphazardly thrown in the box. Each box had an empty void large enough to put two to three more cans in the container. As a result, the cans inside just bounced around against each other.

Of my 60 cans...four were dented and ALL were scraped and scuffed from banging against each other in transit.

What a piss poor way to pack otherwise pristine cans...!!!"

I will reiterate again....The Palmetto SHIPPING MANAGER should be fired... for allowing such poorly protected product from ever leaving their dock.


To Palmetto: These reported cases are not examples of an "Inconvenience"... they are examples of incompetence.

my .50 cal cans were shipped in a very sloppy manner as well. they were hanging out of the box. a few were all scraped and ding up because they were totally exposed to the outside

I've ordered a bunch of mags and parts from them and my boxes have always come in one piece. The contents do seem to be thrown in the box carelessly though

Ouch! I called the other day to ask some questions about my AR47. 64min. estimated wait time. I hang up.
