VALMETS ARE COOL....

I picked up the M76 this summer as my first Valmet, and just traded for the M82. I have always loved AK's, and the Valmets are by far the smoothest shooting I've had.

I am hooked.... :small_gri

finding parts does suck, but I got great deals on both guns. parts do come up here and there, just pricey as hell!

I wanted to learn a bit, I am sorry, you are ever so smart, cause you know, and it must be priviliged information, not suitable to share. Or maybe you just don't know and wanna act like a arrogant ass. I own a hipoint carbine, and it is one of the most reliable firearms I have used. Never a failure, which is more than I can say for my glock. Just because if dosn't cost an arm and a leg, dosn't make it worthless, or even an insult. Go back to your militia boyfriends, maybe they tolerate your condescending tone, but I (and most others here) don't wanna hear it.

Snakebyte, I honestly thought you were kidding by posting that you had only heard of them. They are very well made AK variants, made in Finland. Probably the best pre '89 weapons around, I believe the Galil is the Israeli version of the Valmet. I just got into these myself and have learned quite a bit from Valmet.org.
