FN57 Hollow point penetrates L2 body armor

Take a look at the thread/pics I started today......Civilian legal FN 5.7x28mm
Hollow point at 15 yards from a FN57 will shoot through Level 2 body armor like an icepick through styrofoam! We were all told it wouldnt do this :small_gri
I sacreficed the back panel from my 2000 model Level 2, Second Chance vest to find this out(I have a new one coming) as a control I fired .45acp winchester
FMJ into it.....didnt even penetrate the first layer, just the outer cover.
Later fired .357mag 158JHP as a control....5 layers penetrated. so the panel will stop what its rated to stop.

I swear to god I've never seen such a bunch of hard to please folks(tac forums)....if columbus had to deal with that group we would still have flat globes with the ends of the earth and sea monsters well marked on it. Crap....I went out and shot up a perfectly good vest and since it flys in the face of what they have convinced themselves it wouldnt do...they have to attack the messenger.
It will do what it will do...nothing more , nothing less. If I shoot wood , I get well if we are ever invaded by wood it might be ok....never once thinking that might relate to say...having to shoot though a door or door facing. If I shoot phone books its not jello.....If I shoot jello , its not people....if I shot people, they would say they too cooperative and therefore not a real test. For a bunch that says they are law enforcement...they dont act like any I work with,been on raids with, or commanded. I suspect internet commandoes..after all you can be any kind of expert (or 12 yr old german school girl) you make yourself out to be. Besides that nf.....you and I both are being redered for our fat content to make more jello for the cult as I speak over on that site. For the cardinal sin of saying something they didnt agree with...and as they dont agree with 5.7....anything you say will be held against you(and me).
