View Thread: ORF/Galil:Todd says my chamber was cut too deep?

I sent my Century/ORF Galil to Todd @ ORF.He sent me an email that reads:"The chamber is just cut too deep on this rifle".Can anyone tell me what this means? I'm guessing this is a headspace issue...typical Century build job! Is it possible to recoup my money for this rifle from Century? If I have them send me a new rifle...it's likely I will end up with some other problem! This is my second one from Century.:headbang:
Todd is gone until Monday.

Might be a defect with your Green Mountain BBL. My GM BBL was shredding cases - splitting them in 1/2, ejecting basically what looked like a 9mm case. Sent the whole thing back to Derek @ AZEX with a new GM BBL and the end result finally works great!
(I do have another new GM BBL FS in the market place if you end up needing one).
Between the GM BBLS, CIA's Crapwork(not my rifle, but in general), ORF Receiver flakyness, this whole Galil escapade has been a bit frustrating! I started this project last DECEMBER and I just finally think I have a solid/working rifle. (oh, though it's an early receiver, so all exceptions apply! =) )
