Someone to build Romey Kit!

Hey guys,
Been reading the files, but no luck finding current smith to build my Romey kits for me. Got 2, have NDS recievers, US parts. Kits are wonderfull, not been touched(bubba'd).

Jimmyt,I don't know if you know it or not,but,it is illegal for anyone other than a licensed gunsmith to build a gun for you.The BATFE will bring big smoke on anyone doing this.We can only build these guns for our personal use.You should look around for a build party where any of us would help you.But,you can rest assured that nobody will build those kits for you,only help you,and you will have to do the actual work yourself.

I dont understand??? If you have a registered receiver,who cares who puts it together,theres already a record of sale and transfer?

I need my Matched Romy kit derivited,and assembled here in burb of Cleveland,Ohio. Im living in a 1 bedroom apartment and dont even have anything to attach a regular Vice to-Sucks!!So,I cant do it myself.

I think that the receiver is considered a gun...so once you have bought a receiver and went through background check you have legally acquired a gun. It doesn't matter who will put the receiver and parts kit together.

That would be incorrect.
You need an FFL to do gunsmithing unless you are building it for yourself.

John from JCDLEsales did one for the Dr. The pics looked great. What say Dr, how'd you like your experience with John, finished results? Wanna plug a fellow member? Gunplumber does good looking work too.

Dstorm who is on this forum along with theakforum built 3 ak's for me. He was reasonable on his prices not sure if he still does them though but thats who i used before i found a local guy to do them...

What do you mean no luck finding a gunsmith to build your rifle ? There are many licensed and insured gunsmiths that can do just that for you right here on the files.

I chose Overland Industries in Arizona to build my Romy G kit and NDS-3 receiver. I have heard really good things about them, and I should get my rifle the week after next. I can't wait!

DonHere is a place here in Michigan.You should be able to send kit and receiver directly to him and back to you without any middle man,hope this helps,td

ps at this time you may be better off selling your kits and picking up a completed gun from atlantic firearms or another reputable dealer.td

TD you read my mind. SELL and buy!! Not trying to take anything away from our local smiths, but if they're good, they're backed up. Why wait!
