I took my AK (wood stocked) out the other day and i had a seriouse problem with the stock bolts lostening up on me. I could tighen them down just fine, but they would come loose again after 1 or 2 mags. I could actualy see the screw rotate as i fired.
I am thinking that loctite would solve this problem...but im not sure loctite would work with a wood stock. Thanks in advance.
Get a box of wooden kitchen matches and remove the screws. Stick one in each hole and break off the head. Replace the screws with the match pushed to one side and tighen them down good. If the screws seem easy to screw in take them out and put another match in the hole.
If this trick doesn't work and the wood in the screw holes is wallowed out rear bad. You will have to get some liquid wood and fill the holes completly. Then drill a piolet hole the same diameter as the shank of the screw and screw the screws in.

or you can get one of those plastic anchors, cut the top portion off to get rid of that "head", put it in the hole and get the screw that will fit it.......that will definitely solve the problem of the screw coming out. that is what I did on mine, and I never had a problem with the screw getting loose again
