I thought of doing the same thing... looks good... just not quite right. :)

Looks like a great build, did you do it all yourself?

My compliments on a fine looking rifle.

This was built by Mike at Premier Arms in Tennessee.
He did a fantastic job. Can't wait to get her to the range.

I like it. It is not like the sidefold stock ISN'T tighter than the underfolder when deployed. AND...you can mount an OMP for glass. Works for me.

NICE!

I got one too. But it is the underfolder. I would like to build a side folder as well on a transferable F/A reciever and put an optic rail on the side. That would require the side folder to fold to the other side. Was there a reason that you chose to make it fold to the opposite side of the charging handle? Was there some technical reason?

Otherwise... beautiful. Nice finish on the wood too.

The Russian stocks (afaik) always fold to the left.
