This was my town it happened in, Central East side... The Mayor and City Manager are doing the tap dance around the ramifications of what is REALLY involved here rite after a Policeman shot a suspect in the back. Suspect WAS armed and the weapon was seen by the ofcr, security, patrons, etc... It is being called racially motivated, but of course the MOB beating is not and all the RACE CARD GROUPS ARE DESPEARTELY TRYING TO DIFFUSE THE OBVIOUS ISSUE HERE.... It isn't working very well though... These "racially" motivated shootings are NOT happening anywhere else in town, nor are the beatings, hmmmmm......

The other irony is my town, Austin, TX, is a known safe haven to the Criminal Immigrant, a very well known fact internationally too. Dept of HS said no more Pell Grants for Austin and well, the ole tap dance started again.... The irony of this irony is Chertoff was for the Shamnesty Bill and now he's punishing the very city that would have reaped a hvy reward for its existence....

Don't get me wrong, Austin and Texas are great places to live, but the liberal politics consume themselves like cancer and the obvious counter productive process is at the expense of those trying to follow or enforce the laws.... A very good lesson to learn here is the only reason one CAN be liberal is if they're rich enuf to do so.... This town is swimming in cash and white, wealthy, self loathing rich white folk, whom contain the eyesore of their real racism by noticeably segregarting the "others" to the east side by means of gentrification.... What a joke this place is... The only reason it survives this way is it's surrounded by non-self loathing folk in the rest of the state...
