All the kits I see say the parts are to be used for replacement parts only and not to build a new weapon. What do I have to do to build my own with out becoming Bubba's love slave for the next 10 years?

those are just legal diclaimers the company puts on their sites, to protect them from lawsuits.........you can build a 'krinkov" or have one built for you by a gunsmith.......but you still have to follow the NFA and 922. replace enough foregin parts with US ones, and make it so the stock cannot fold, and put a barrel extension permanently attached so that it is at least 16 inches long.,,,,,,,,,, you can apply for a SBR on a ATF form 1 so that you can keep the original barrel (8 inches) but you would still need to make the stock non-folding .US parts for a SBR does not have to be installed.

Thanx for the info...I was wanting to get a 16" and cover it with a fake suppresor. Any idea where I can get something like that that is U.S. made?

OHIO RAPID FIRE has a carbon copy of a fake PBS-5 suppresor. it screws directly on the FSB.....you would just need to have it silver soldered on, or blind pinned, and you will be barrel length legal.
