We attended the Annual Machinegun shoot in Cheyenne Wells CO last weekend, and had a great time. It's sponsored by the Rocky Mtn Fifty Caliber Shooter's Assoc and believe me Bob McBride does a wonderful job of keeping things moving and organized. It has become the Knob Creek of the West, except you don't have to wait for someone to die to get a spot on the line. At least not yet.
It's neighborly-type event, lot's of wonderful folks, and no cussing allowed. It was made clear by the directors that too much video (80%) of previous shoots had to be deleted due to in appropriate language. It's family-oriented for all to enjoy. There were several suppressor demonstrations which eliminated the 'mystery' of suppressed firearms. No, it's not like in the movies. And folks raise their eyebrows when they see and hear reality
I've posted some fresh vids - a CII friend from Denver let us play with his Glock to our hearts content. You can see we were very taken by it. Must've ran 20+ mags through it

My 1919 Shorty was a real crowd pleaser too. Pardon my intensity on the video, she was learning how to run the camera

My favorite at these shoots is the 51K what a little dragon. Got it slowed to about 700 rpm's and it's a joy to shoot. Friend of mine caught this shot

Well we love that flame stuff for entertainment. But we have and appreciate precision firearms too........one mile in the 2' square ain't bad
