PM problems

I received a PM but I can not reply. It says that I have PM turned off but when I go to myprofile>options settings it is turned on. I reset it anyway to be one and save and it still will not let me send the PM.

I still have this exact same problem.....Please fix it !!!

Now I am loosing out on Marketplsace postings because the PM feature on this forum is broken....

don't try to PM me because it does not work....

Try clearing ALL your AK Files cookies (not just by signing out but by deleting them from your PC).

If that doesn't work, then let me know.

FWIW, I have verified both these accounts within the ADMIN control panel. PM SHOULD be working. I have dispatched a flash message to high command on this.

cleared the cookies......still no good.

Jem sent me a test PM message, I still can't send back a PM.

Sent her an email with screen shots...

I too have tried clearing the cookies and every time I send a p.m. I get the you cant send or receive p.m.'s message and I have to re-sign in and when I check it always shows that I have them activated.

I know I have missed some p.m.'s because those who I am responding too have had to contact me on my email instead.

Makes for some anxious days trying to get a deal done when it happens constantly.

Okay, I'll turn off my whiney voice and hope for a resolution.

could this be caused because of a firewall or virus protection in your computer system?don't really know just thinking out loud.tdbrown

I've gotten p.m.'s on other boards without any trouble.
My anti virus and firewall programs do not hinder them at all.
Yet this is the only board that repeatedly tells me that I am not logged in or cannot send or receive p.m.'s as I have disallowed or turned off p.m.'s and to go to the user panel, when I do that it shows that all functions are enabled.

This is causing me some concern and more than a little annoyance.
