I will agree with ilumminos_9 on one thing our goverment is corrupt but this is nothing new it has been going on since we became a nation,and to me this is not just about my right to worship who I want, it is about my right to own guns,to go to the supermarket and know what language the boy bagging my groceries is speaking to me.For my kids to not have to learn spanish or any other foriegn language in school (requiered) to not get called by my kids teacher to be told my kid was reading their Bible during free reading time and that it is inappropriate material and have to explain to my 11 year old daughter why(do any of you have an answer i don't) I thought this was a free country but more and more it is not.for me this is about the constitution being used against us when it was meant to protect us.and illuminos_9 you say you love this country but when you compare the U.S.M.C. to terroist I take offense to that. I appreciate and support the troops on the ground (if not the ground upon which they are currently deployed). My problem is with our military men and women being exploited for the benefit of an elite few.

Also coming from a military family, I understand the values imbued with military service and heritage.

My disappointment (for what it's worth) is with the blind obedience to immoral command, due in part to their indoctrination. The Marines especially are whipped into killing machines.

I understand the necessity of having a military of "Warriors," but can't they display some conscience and character as a rule rather than an exception? They used to.

What they say on television is quite different from what they say in private. I know several Marines of different eras and though they are all Marines, they are not all honorable. Many of the whippersnappers are just FPS (first-person shooter) junkies who wanted to play for real. These are usually the ones who act like they're cumming everytime they blow something or someone to pieces.

Real Marines know it costs the soul to kill. Even an enemy.

I say save the military for defending our homeland from foreign invaders and stop corrupt politicians from using them as hired thugs... That's what Blackwater Security is for.
